SO not funny.

I have a cold. Of all the things.... First it was Kimberly, and I remember thinking how horrible it was for her to be ill barely on our second day here. And now I have it. It's not too bad really. Mainly just as I wake up, and really it's just my throat being uncomfortable and my head a little stuffy (aka mild headache). Nothing really painful or unbearable. But I still feel wretched at having being dealt this hand -mind you, if this is all the bad luck I'll have to deal with, then I'm totally fine XD
Thing is, I was planning on having a day trip today. I have a couple of places I want to visit, and today would've been perfect. I suppose I could still make it; after all, I only feel a little faint at odd times. BUT this would make the cold worse tonight or tomorrow. I'd rather just wait it out and not make it too bad. We'll see how I feel in a couple of hours.

edit: ok, scratch that... throat is sore and swollen now and so are my ears. meh.

edit 2: yay! Kim brought this magical syrup medicine thingy that allowed me to get out of bed. Throat is much better, the rest is a bit better, though my head still hurts and I just want to go to bed and not have to set up the travel form. Too much research, not enough brain cells healthy at the moment.
